Damon was alone into the Rider's living room. He had asked for Rosie's hand, and was already living with her in another room, but there was something bothering him still... He hadn't asked for Flynn's blessing upon his proposal... He didn't want everyone by his side on that moment. He didn't want Belle or Rosie or his parents... He had to do it all by himself, like a man should do... How could Flynn trust his daughter when the man who was supposed to take care of her needed support on that simple task.
Damon had a code of honor to follow, it was something his father had taught him well, and he knew he would feel more comfortable with this situation after he did things right with Flynn. He loved his uncle dearly, and it was the least he could do after all.
